Winter Break Hours

During Winter Break, Brandeis Hospitality will operate on a reduced schedule to reflect the holiday season. From December 25th through January 4th, the only dining location available to the campus community will be The Hoot, ensuring students, faculty, and staff still have access to meals during this period. Some of the venues will reopen on January 5th with all other dining venues will remain closed until regular hours resume after the break, January 12th, so anyone on campus should plan accordingly and make The Hoot their go-to spot for food service during these dates.

In addition to its regular offerings, The Hoot will feature fresh-made hot coffee throughout Winter Break, perfect for warming up during the colder days. Guests can also enjoy the wide variety of Kosher, Made Without Gluten, Vegan, and Vegetarian options that are normally available, including favorites such as Amy’s Vegan Made Without Gluten Lasagna, Amy’s Made Without Gluten Burrito, Amy’s Made Without Gluten Mac and Cheese, Made Without Gluten Pizza, Alfredo Mac and Cheese, Alfredo Stuffed Shells, Sukki’s Veggie Samosa Wraps, and several meals from Café Spice. A selection of grab-and-go sandwiches and salads will also be offered, with choices that include made without gluten, kosher, and vegetarian options, ensuring that all dietary needs are met during the break. We will also offer additional seating and microwaves in the lounge next to The Hoot.

Meal plans and meal exchanges are not available at this time but Carryover points and WhoCash can be used for payment during this time.
