Guacamole Day Brings Flavor and Feedback

Brandeis students were treated to a delicious surprise this week as the Guacamole Day pop-up took over Usdan. The event featured house-made guacamole crafted with fresh ingredients and served alongside warm, freshly made tortilla chips. Students lined up to grab a bite, turning the dining hall into a festive hub of flavor and conversation.

But it wasn’t just about the snacks—Guacamole Day was also a chance to connect with students and hear what they really think about campus dining. Staff engaged students in casual chats about their favorite stations and the importance of sharing feedback to improve the dining experience. One clear winner emerged: the new pasta bar at Usdan, which students overwhelmingly named as their top pick. With full stomachs and open conversations, the event proved that good food and good dialogue go hand in hand.
